His real name is Darren Matthews. He used "Steve Regal" as his stage name pre-WCW. "Lord Steven Regal" originated in WCW. He continued to use "Steven Regal" (without the "Lord") during his first WWF run ('98-99). "Lord Steven Regal" then returned for his second (and ultimately final) WCW run.
