It seems like 90% of the people here are unemployed and incapable of normal interactions so ill break it down for you. You can tell when exactly fans gave up on wwe by who they ask about. Ronda, Styles, Reigns (being completely oblivious to the fact that hes been champ for like a year and a half), Lesnar, Cena, anybody from the A.E.
The only people that even considered coming back either watched the WWE shows on A&E or heard about Masvidal at AEW, because lets face it, ATT as a whole was NEVER a draw. People ask about "Masvidal and that new place Jerichos wrestling" or "that new wrestling show i see commercials for" but nobody gives a shit when you let them know that its a bunch of self marks larping as professional wrestlers with their best friends because a couple guys that couldnt make it in the WWE when that actually meant something went to Japan and got good pr from a geriatric autist, then came back and milked the autistic son of a car parts salesman to the tune of 9 figures and counting to try and tear down the monopoly in an industry that would die without it.
Casual fans will never come back. I post here everyday and i can more than answer questions about wrestling offline when people ask and even i hardly watch. I just read recaps and watch 2.0.
