MJF needs to be in more tag matches, somehow some way. They can't continue with this 65/35 (or whatever) booking they're doing, just picking names out of a hat, he cuts a bunch of promos, says wild shit and then the PPV match and move along.

His last 2v2 tag match was, believe it or not, AEW Revolution 2021, a year ago. His last 6-man tag was in December 2021 - before that, December 2020. vs Wardlow and vs CM (again) is just passe. Give him and Spears a shot at DBry/Mox and Top Flight (with a title shot on the line), and win after Dante gets laid out and DBry gets distracted. Gives Regal time to "coach them up" on how to work better together, etc; Top Flight, you can tease a heel turn or breaking up (but keep them together); and gives MJF/Spears time to hone their craft/chemistry in the ring against other teams while they await their Title Shot

If MJF goes right into another Singles fued, with Spears being a fucking goofy idiot somewhere in the background, it just isn't going to work. And giving MJF more goons (The Acclaimed? Brian Cage? Archer?) is just going to exacerbate the problem. He's good enough on the mic, he needs more ring time WITHOUT the pressure of singles wins/losses.

That whole shit about "blah blah, it's hard enough to get tag teams over, too little talent", I'm so sick of it. It's as simple as telling the announcers to really play up that titleholders make SO MUCH MORE money at the pay-window.

You can have Cole + reDragon win the belts, MJF/Spears plus THE THIRD MAN win, 2.0/Garcia win, Jurassic, Best Friends, etc. So many trios you can make up right now. You can even dabble down the Impact path and have one team be 2 men and 1 woman.

I just explained it, so he can get more ring time. When you book yourself into a corner where he has to win 100% of his matches, because 100% of his matches are singles matches, otherwise he looks like a failed or falling star.....this is what happens.

This is why WWE used to book 2 on 1 handicap matches for Faces, or Heel Tag/"good luck finding a partner" matches, so they could have ring time in-between the 1v1 at the PPV. You need your best stars in the ring as often as possible, not once or twice per month. It's not enough.

House of Black, Death Triangle, Jurassic Express, Cole+reDragon, Dark Order, 2.0+Garcia, Best Friends, MJF+FTR, it's right there. And there's plenty of other teams from Mexico/Japan/Impact (Los Psycho Circus, Bullet Club, etc) you can bring in.

Los Psycho Circus isn't worth the cash to bring in for 1 match, or for 2 weeks, without titles on the line and main event slot. You want to pop the TV ratings? We need some non-flippy Lucha shit, for once.

The Pinnacle is pretty much over at this point with Wardlow and FTR gone, I doubt that they're gonna try and give him a tag team run. It looks like he might be going for the World title after Double or Nothing, probably All Out. And judging by Hangman's last two matches and decreasing confidence in Hangman's run, he might actually get it. That or they want to keep on going so he can be a longer reigning champion than Kenny, which is a surefire way to make people really hate him outside of hardliners.

AEW's insistence of signing virtually anyone that leaves WWE is just subtracting both necessary funds and years of its lifespan.
