Free issue shouldn't be the name butch, but the gimmick. The name fits the gimmick (60s UK thug). So it's just a matter of whether or not you think the gimmick is retarded (which is a totally valid opinion)

It's the idea that Dunne needs a name change after being in WWE and being on their TV for like five years. If you MUST do a name change, then "Bruiser" would be fine, it sounds better than Butch and is at least tied to his gimmick name. That you could've accomplished the same thing by calling him "Bruiser" and went with "Butch" instead just makes it seem like they were trying to come up with the dumbest name possible.
