Honestly, I don't watch AEW so I don't care, but do have an opinion on this loser's gimmick. Back in the 80s and 90s, if they didn't know what to do with you OR you yourself lacked creativity, you would debut in prowrestling with a Cowboy gimmick.
Everyone from Jericho to Pillman. It's widely hated as the most unoriginal gimmick in all of prowrestling and if Cowboy gimmicks are used nowadays, you're being worked by the old timers.

This Page dude is just a cheap Beer Money knockoff and probably would have gotten a real gimmick, had American Cowboys not still been over in 2000s Japan (they love their little American cattlemen, Japan is like 2 decades behind on storytelling, hell the nWo rip off showed up there and they thought it was a brand new concept).
So here's how it is: fuck AEW, fuck Japan, fuck Cowboys, and fuck Page for never being creative enough to come up with an original gimmick.

His matches have been good, but other than the Bryan feud, his storylines have been like the fourth/fifth most important angles on the show, which should not be the case with your world champion. He can’t carry the focus of the show like someone like Punk, Moxley, or MJF can. Your supposed to put your title on those guys. Your world title picture needs some meat on the bone.

Agreed. It seems Tony has noticed this and is taking steps to correct it though. Since the storyline with Cole started, Hangman has been showcased more.

Mostly true, although I think because the cowboy thing is so played out, there's actually some novelty to having an unironic cowboy gimmick in 2022. Don't think Page is the guy for it, though. We need more of a Stan Hansen type.

Yeah Cowboy Page fucking sucks. The only match I ever saw of All Petite was the inaugural battle royal he won that featured fags and amputees. I knew then that All Petite wasn't for me. I don't watch WWE either, but if I do come back to wrestling, it won't be All Petite.
