That wouldn't change anything as people would say 'he's just working', and the whole point is to not let anyone know what he's going to do, so why would he say he's not going to WWE, a few more viewers for a week or two isn't going to help WWE long term and the buzz gets WWE viewers talking about Cody so if he goes back to AEW they'll talk about that and some will watch.
