The fact of the matter is no one actually wanted Cody in WWE again, and AEW doesn't want him either. He's genuinely one of the most middle of the road, boring charisma vacuums to have ever stumbled their way in to some form of prominence before Tony took it all away from him and left him floating in the wind. He's irrelevant and the only time he was remotely entertaining was Dashing Cody Rhodes and that's only because his theme was dimes. He would only ever get a brief pop in WWE if it was a smark city, after that the normies won't give a fuck about him. He's dimeless.
