Vince and WWE probably saw this and tried to make him a goofier character like Austin was as a heel, except Austin was doing that after like 3 solid years of being the "toughest son of a bitch in the WWF" while Dean had a few months like that.
Then the fucking genie in the HiaC match happened and suddenly Dean only cared about Wyatt.
