misao is one of those that doesnt need a belt to have interesting matches. in tjpw or in ddt, it seems like shes always doing something worth checking out. with that said, finally winning a belt whether its the pop, ip, or tag, would be great for her story that shes built up since being there.

well not on her own. of course koda helped with that. the story told during her time with neo bii-gun really was really about that. she kept losing the big ones and decided to throw it all away for power but she still lost against shoko and she lost the tag titles and even though she lost to sakisama in the end, she thanked her for helping her realize that she preferred being the hero. winning a belt would solidify this. to become a champion as hyper misao without changing who she is. :)

actually, koda handled that really nicely. no one thinks the champion is losing in their 1st or 2nd defense. mizuki was shoko's 2nd defense and right after that misao came and challenge. at the time misao hadnt lost a single time and was tag champ. this would be shoko's 3rd defense so there was definitely a possibility she could lose. it was far from a filler defense.

Not that I know of, back then there werent many multi-cam shows, so you only had the front row to see, and the crowd is usually under dim lights, the only girl /tjpw/ recognized was "Hikari's cousin" because she was in front of the hardcam every single show. Haruna was easy to spot because it was a street show under the sun.

I don't know if she'd fit in Stardon at all as they tend to just throw girls into a stable rather than giving them individual personalities. Hell, Mirai seems like just another girl there. Character work was the only thing Waka was really good at and they fucked that over too.

the thing about TJPW is that it feels like most wrestlers don't really improve while they are there. TJPW's style doesn't lend itself to that and that's fine if that's what you want.

But Marika is never going to get better just doing endless undercard tags with Pom Raku and Neko. Friendly girl wrestling has its place and in some respects it's a welcome break from watching people sawdust themselves, but as we've seen in Stardom, Mina and Unagi have grown as wrestlers rapidly. If either of them ever came back to TJPW they'd probably be a lot bigger deals than they were before.

The injuries probably didn't help either. I don't see what makes you say that Suzume is versatile all she does is run around, dropkick, crossbody and that springboard move that makes her opponents look like retards because they have to stand doing nothing waiting for her. She didn't use them often but Mirai had some submissions and slams that looked good she's more versatile than Suzume.
Also I don't see what makes Suzume more entertaining than Mirai, I don't remember her being in funny comedy spots, I feel like 50% of her matches is just her running in the ring. Mirai making the dead coomers in the crowd go "oooh" when she hit a lariato was more entertaining for me than anything Suzume ever did.
