Why does CM Punk cause so much seethe here? I just like him as a wrestler. He's good and he's good on the mic. I don't care about his personal life, or his politics, or his opinions on anything other than wrestling. Why would I care about some fucking pro wrestler's politics?

He is just not "credible" in the ring especially when he is against guys who look like legit threats (Hobbs, Wardlow). Also, they stopped trying to do entertaining segments outside the arenas when he showed up probably because they are paying him and Bryan so much. AEW has gotten worse since he arrived.

He’s also generally unlikeable and his presentation in the ring and on the mic are no longer special. So you’re literally just resting on your laurels and since he insists on working with lower cars younger guys his matches have been super predictable. They should’ve either rebuilt him from the get go or had a rocket strapped to him for the main event, the half stepping is just annoying. His presence also caused them to do this half assed turn for Bry which was rushed and forced and made no sense.

Nah. Punk apex was the feud he had with Hardy and it went downhill from there. The pipebomb wasn't half as good as everyone tries to make it out to seem. Honestly Punk's whole gimmick is what?
