Shane Douglas was never a draw
Haku cut a promo on him in front of the talent one night Douglas refused to work a house show because quote "my back is sore" triple H ended up wrestling twice that night and after the event Haku came back and cut another promo on Douglas in front of the talent essentially burying him in front of everyone backstage
the writing was on the wall for Shane after that.
