>>4885757They insist on doing “muh long term booking and payoff” which is a noble idea, but the truth is this just makes things predictable. Things were better early on when they’d do some cringe bullshit but it’d be gone 2 weeks later.
Also the roster bloat and over reliance on stables and debuts. This makes individual performers less important and any push anyone gets less important, In 3 hours of tv a week you can really only feature 25 or so performers in total without having guys miss multiple weeks at a time. So theyre not really elevating guys the way they think bc it doesn’t stick long term.
Speaking of screen time- they need to cut way down on the singalong entrances and multiple themes for tag teams and trios. This wastes 10-12 minutes a week easily just on unnecessary music. Adam Cole doesn’t need a 4 minute entrance each time he comes on screen… and if he does for some reason then make sure Redragon comes out with him and Jurassic Express and Hangman don’t also come separate. Same with Darby/Sting just pick one song no reason they both can’t come out to one song or the other maybe depending on the mood of the match.
There’s just a lot of filler which is retarded when you have 150 motherfuckers on retainer. We should be getting PPV quality each week with good storylines but instead it’s very much like ROH meets late 2000s TNA. Technically not terrible but meandering into who cares territory a lot lately.
