Im from the Illinois suburbs(lifelong bulls fan) but moved to Missouri years ago from my pops job transfer. I watched a lot of OKC games, Russ never did it for me either. Tired of hearing this. It's 2022. PPV are not a viable model of business or engagement unless you're boxing or UFC and even those two entities have moved off of them and made their money through selling the exclusive rights to broadcast their fights and/or made their own streaming services. It is not the 70's or 80's anymore. Hell it isn't even early '00's. The last UFC, 269, made 500k buys. That's fucking it. They do not depend on PPV's to make money or there would be no business. A great PPV for them is 2.5 million. A great boxing PPV? Maybe double that. Stop throwing around numbers that have no context or cause in how successful is measured.
