>>4893685It's not an opinion. By the standards of narrative media it is fucking awful. Nothing on the show ever makes sense. The production values are complete shit. The quality of the licenced media they use on the shows is bad too, and it is almost all used in reductive ways - Pixies song for Orange Cassidy doesn't work at all and it recontextualises his gimmick as being an edgy teenager try hard while the Monteasy songs are all just plain bad and make people who come out to them have flat entrances.
The pyro looks bad, the lighting is bad, the video packages are bad. Wha about the show is good? There are guys on the roster who are talented. Some of them can drag what they are working with up to a watchable level. Most of the show is just random vanity segments and people doing every move they know constantly while Tony schiavone screams "yes it is nice cos I like my job, yes I never saw this move they do in ever match wow I'm so excited".
And that's every AEW show. It could improve a lot. It's doing really well, all things considered, but there's no excuse for the complete lack of quality and it hasn't lived up to any of the promises made when they started up.
