Yeah, the slasher villains were just perfect for wrestling. It's a shame we never got Jason the Terrible or Leatherface vs Hulk in the 80's. It would have just printed money.
I've really come to appreciate W*ING over the last few years. It just doesn't get much better than Leatherface, Jason and The Headhunters vs random Puerto Rican's.
Have faith though, man. We're seeing more variety and creativity in wrestling than ever before these days and it's just a matter of time until the right person stumbles across some IWA Japan tapes and we get greatness.
