Now, if I were the elites, and I wanted to condition the people to ignore certain things that were not favorable to my agendas, I would try my best to directly associate the term ‘conspiracy theory’ in their minds with ‘crazy untrue thing’. I would even allow and promote certain insane conspiracies on mainstream television, like sasquatch, lock ness, and flat Earth, just to reinforce the association in their minds. Legitimate conspiracies would of course, never be allowed. But the ridiculous ones would be, and only to condition the public to knee-jerk reject any concept the elites labelled a ‘conspiracy theory’.
That’s how legitimate brainwashing works. No dangling watches needed. Just repeated subtle suggestions and associations through mass media.
