Kenny's version of AEW would actually be pretty based, as a lot of the comfy stuff they did in the first two years was his doing. Those Janela/Havoc/Darby triple threats, Joshi special guest features and the invention of the Lights Out concept were all him. I think Omega would probably have a New Japan long-term storytelling main event scene with a DDT/TJPW undercard that would give JR a stroke.

Omega and the Bucks have similar connections, so I wouldn't count on him having better taste in talent. Best Friends, Jurassic Express, the GCW holdovers, Dark Order, SCU and the Hardys would all be in the company regardless. The only differences would be no Angels/10 in Dark Order, since those are Cody trainees.

Back in the territory days the turning off of the lights signified the end of the card and anything that happened after that was unsanctioned by the local governing body. The one I remember as a kid was Harley Race vs. Manny Fernandez in March 81, but it was used way before that.
