Because they’ve designed their business in such a way that the brand is all that matters. The wrestlers are interchangeable, the quality of the product doesn’t matter. They have enough dedicated fans and enough brand value to lock down the TV deals, distribution, licensing, etc. that makes them fucktons of money.

Yeah that's why their main audience are aging boomers. It seems to be the case for AEW too. WWE getting paid by the House of Saud makes way more sense to me.

Yeah I highly doubt the Saudis will get involved in any meaningful way. The ongoing conflict benefits them greatly as an OPEC nation and there’s no way they would go strong for Russia as they are theoretically aligned with the west.

I mean it’s technically possible if Iran gets heavily involved but still highly unlikely. At that point we’re talking WW3 and not the one won by Macho in 95 brother.

WWE has gotten shitter and shitter ever since they went public and now everything is there to please the stockholders. it is especially bad the last few years because they're prepping for a sale, though i think the saudi arabia thing means they're not gonna be able to secure a decent sale.

They make most of their money from TV deals, licensing and all that stuff because the WWE brand is still a hot commodity, it's one of those companies that will turn a profit regardless of the quality of the product.

Look at their corporate website and read their reports. Aside from Saudi which so far exceeds 250M (about 50M a show over there for 10 years) most of their income is basically all the stuff they put out online 24/7. Quantity of quality. They've cast such a huge net its impossible to not make money.
