No, he is definitely strongly biased against modern NJPW in particular for two reasons: Kenny and the Bucks wrestled there, one, and two is that Meltzer thinks it's good. That's enough for Cornette in his podcast act as a contrarian (and it is a fucking act) to shit on it.
That's the only reason he hates it, surely, because in-ring it's everything he claims to love. They have a sports based presentation more than American wrestling by far aside from maybe one Yano comedy match per card and their matches are not flippyshitfests but long matches with great pacing and psychology.
I don't think he's racist because if you watch Cornette's interview with Stan Hansen, he sucks his dick so hard that he barely has time to breathe.
