I honestly think if he'd been able to collaborate with Shane on building RAW Underground we might have a 4th brand targeted for ECW/Strongstyle/Hardcore and MMA fans and they'd absolutely iron grip the 18-34 demographic. But they didn't even let it live long enough to see if it had legs.
Shit, Ambrose's last gimmick before leaving (the leather jacketed escapee from a mental asylum type thing) had legs and he was getting over until they squashed. I honestly think that was a punishment squash. There's no way anyone thought that putting Dean in the ring with Lesnar was gonna generate anything but disappointment in the fans. Most of my fellow IRL marks said they went for snacks and piss breaks after the second suplex cause they saw which way the wind was blowing.
