The real issue is how stupid it is to suggest that anything in western modern wrestling hasn't been defined by WWE. That includes WCW, ECW, TNA, ROH etc not just because they literally purchased two of those companies and folded them, but also that everyone of those feds was created, positioned and marketed itself in relation to the current WWE product at that time, and then had that style folded in through a company purchase or the outright purchase of their best performers. And here we are again with AEW. 80-90% of that fucking roster are E-jects now. Their top performers are almost all WWE guys.
