I started watching Stardom regularly last year and they have some of best top to bottom cards around. When did turn the corner to be such an entertaining promotion?

The last time I checked out Stardom was in 2016 or so. The top couple of matches were good, but the rest of the card was just there. Curious as to when they turned the corner and what led to the change.
