>>4977465I only really follow NJPW and AEW but I find NJPW to have far better matches than the latter. That said, they are certainly not anywhere near peak form right now, and the bad booking can only partially be blamed on a limited roster due to covid and clap crowds. Having three of the title feuds be built around Chaos vs HoT at the same time earlier this year was fucking mind numbing.
For what its worth I only started watching around the 2020 G1 so clap only crowds haven't been as much of an issue for me, it will actually be weird for me to watch live NJPW shows with cheering crowds when it happens.
