Most parents would've left their child to the sea. Parents and parenting are dead, children are raised by algorithms and networks and the first generation raised almost entirely by AI will be adults in 10-15 years.
That said this is fucking disgusting since they fired him and did absolutely nothing for him afterwards. But his estate gets paid something for this so meh, everyone wins I guess.
