I think so. Jericho's run felt like a pilot season. Mox's run was good. Omega's run was fantastic with a great finale.

Hangman's run feels like the season where the original writers took on a bunch of extra writers for diversity purposes. It's not even just the main event, it's fucking everything

Creatively? I dunno, I kinda doubt it. They've used up pretty much all of their initial round of storylines (Jericho and the Inner Circle, Moxley as the conquering hero, Omega and Hangman, Britt's run and eventually putting over Thunder Rosa), and the impetus now is to come up with stuff that's as good as that first round. Hangman's title reign, MJF and Wardlow seem to be the major storylines at the moment. I'd kinda like to see Darby doing something a little more important, I guess.

Financially? Not a chance. They will get a huge raise in 2024.

I wonder what the original plan was for Hangmans run. Was there even one? 2 of his 3 feuds so far have been ex Fed guys that showed no indication of leaving a year ago

We can reasonably assume that his first feud was gonna be against a heel Moxley, but Bryan stepped in there and turned heel. Besides that, who knows. I do think that sometime around August or September, when it became clear that all of those guys were gonna be coming into AEW, Khan decided to build Hangman's first reign around him beating all of them to do a story of the homegrown AEW guy beating all these big time free agent signings, culminating with him beating Punk at the next pay per view.

Feels like the Elite stuff is basically done. I only want Elite/BC type stuff to be re-visited if Jay White is allowed to perform with AEW more than a cameo. We could get runbacks with Page and Omega.

True. The Page/Omega thing was planned well before AEW so it's nice to see it play out. I dunno what the plan was after. Obviously the Bucks were planning the Revival match for ages, the angle just kind of fizzled out though. Cody/Omega is one that surely was planned. Probably all in Tony's corner now.

I think (probably) Archer, Brian Cage, Heel Mox st Revolution, then a slow burn feud with a Hell Cody, where he'd drop it.

no, we still have omega's return, cm punk's run at the title and subsequent heel turn, danielson still has a lot of mileage in the tank. its still a very interesting and fun product to watch.

however i rarely watch the whole show and just catch the youtube highlights. id probably pay if they had a streaming service though.
