I've recently started watching Raw from the beginning since I missed the New Gen era. For all the criticism that the WWF got for it with its bad gimmicks, it would still be the best wrestling product on TV today. It's like it's not even the same business anymore.

What are your thoughts on the New Generation era?

1993 was a pretty aimless year because they took the belt off of Bret for a year to re-establish him as the top guy, or they were giving it to Luger and hadn't made up their mind yet.

Amidst that, you still had KOTR '93 which was a great show and the end of Hulkamania, and Raw being a really cool idea. I miss the old Raws.

That one Raw where 1-2-3 Kid beat Razor and Jannetty beat Michaels is still one of the all time best nights in the show.

Beyond that, I think the New Generation was mostly fun until HBK wins the belt. Then it starts going downhill until we get to the rise of Austin.
