In storyline. Everyone loves to hate "Codelander", it would be a great spot for him and it would be the ultimate heel turn for that character.
Would be better than if he would just Cody + also a dick in AEW and what "Codelander" would do. I'm more into AEW but I think this would be better than anything AEW could do.

I dont really buy that and think he was playing it up. Who knows when he heard the WWE pitch if it's true? If it's the case, maybe that explains why he left since it sounds better than what he could do in AEW. He worked heel his whole run between leaving E and joining AEW, I don't think he has a problem being heel.
