When Sean Waltman first jumped back to the WWF from WCW, he stated that Nash and Hall would be right there with him if not for contract, and both Nash and Hall confirmed that they tried to get released or even fired around that time. Had they succeeded, and jumped to WWF, where would they have landed? Part of DX, or doing their own thing? Would it have improved or diminished the attitude era shows?

I can at least see Nash being used the same they tried to use Big Show, as Vince's hired monster to take on Austin. I'm not sure where Hall ends up, or if he's even reliable enough to book without Nash as a backup at this point in his life.
