Is this seriously one of the dumbest firings in wrestling or what? Especially since years later liberals love to make grab her by the pussy and stormy daniels jokes of their own. Did Joey retire knowing the writing was on the wall wrestling was about to get a whole lot gayer? And why didn't they let him commentate BACKLASH?

That's the impression I got. He could have apologised and he probably would have been fine but who wants a job where you talk but have to censor yourself constantly?

I think he was done. I mean the guy earned his stripes with ECW. He saw that Paul E. had given up the dream for major cash and a corner office, saw all his friends drift away into ignominious ends or back to cameos in indy shitshows, and saw how the wind was blowing for relics like him. So.....he took his last swing and walked. Hopefully with his head held high that he stuck it in "the man's" eye one ladt time.
