Maki Itoh is a shoot tranny. Joshis don’t draw where it matters most, in the United States. AEW is a fine example for my theory. See Riho, Shida, Sakura, that other one who banged the pajeet, etc.. Maki can’t wrestle and thinks it’s “Charismatic.” It doesn’t help when no one can understand what it’s saying.

She's an enigma.
Weird, not wrestling, complicated to behold, she's a likeable version of Kenny Omega.
If you're looking for pops, she's exceptionally good at getting them.

Don't get me wrong, she's a bad fit for an AEW that's trying to be a wrestling promotion.
WWE on the other hand needs funny cunts like her who insult the shit out of their fans for the memes, to contrast massive deminegro asses like Nikita Lyons.

They debuted her on a PPV pre-show without any real packages or hype which wasn't a good idea since she's a gimmick character that needs some explanation. While reddit might know who she is, most people don't. Then they messed up the sound on her song and rushed it, plus the song was in Japanese so nobody understood it anyway. They also had like 2-3 other debuts that night and her debut got lost in the shuffle.
