To be honest, if it wasn't for the stupid heart beat shit, I'd think it'd be kino if he just got up with his music hitting, hulked out and managed to beat roman.

Instead he just ends up no selling and falls off the rope and gets pinned in the most embarrassing fashion and the only pay off to the whole thing is to put roman over.

The rope thing would've been better if it wasn't as delayed. It actually protects balor pretty well when you consider that he didn't fuck up and he was just unlucky in-universe, which I think was the goal. The heartbeat stuff was the nail in the coffin for anyone thinking this was well booked though
