Hogan, the asshole marketer needing interference from Andre so both Inoki and Hogan could exit the match as faces is brilliant, and it builds on the match you reference and the feud between Inoki and Andre, which was Andre in his prime. You also see Inoki basically carrying Hogan too. If you gave a shit about Inoki beyond using the legacy he built to try to pretend the NJPW that employed Omega was the same NJPW that Inoki founded, you would know this.
