>>5048954I don't know where you live but in the UK skaters were still goth/metal sub culture in 2000 and dressed in those big baggy trousers the Hardyz wear and Slipknot tops with big fat dark coloured Vans or a few other brands which probably don;t exist anymore. Then in the mid 2000s Nike brought out the Nike SBs and almost overnight skating went from metal/goth culture to all of the hip hop kids doing it and wearing the brightly coloured Nike SBs and basketball shorts/tracksuit bottoms listening to Lupe Fiasco.
