I think it's fine that it was. It established they're not afraid to do that in the future, and it gave a nice angle for the second match, where Bryan expected him not to go as hard and spent time playing to the judges till it was too late.

The matches aren't the same as the angles. He's mostly "been challenged, accepted, done good match" that's -fine- but a really good championship reign should be a little more than that. And also the promos have been a bit hit or miss. When he's got it, he's *got* it, but other times it's flat.

I'm not saying it isn't good, just that I think that Hangman's next run is going to be way better and he'll be more proactive.
