Reading it weekly simply bogs down the story, so the same complainers always complain whatever latest arc is the worst one yet. Simply ignore latest chapter discussion topics and read it in bulk.
Also avoid watching the anime passed fishman island, cause the padding is unbearable. They should have stuck to anime exclusive arcs, but made them much larger or created a what if style alternative new world adventure to take place between waiting for enough manga content to adapt.
