>>5071037His original vision was being a money mark paying to watch PWG on TV and making a big personal weekly wrestlecon. His decisions were based around what people who don't think about profits think would improve wrestling (less PPVs, less TV, wrestling over bullshit, less rematches) and it shows that's the kind of wrestling he wants to watch. But he quickly learned he didn't like how Kenny and the Bucks book because they literally can't. They can put matches together and do swerve finishes but they don't know how to string a story together because they just wanted to put on matches and get pay days for their guys. Cody was good enough at booking himself that they seemed to let him until he left. He definitely cut that I am the real CM Punk promo on his own live and they let him do it. No reasonable owner in the world would let someone bury their top draw on the way out.
So he got a taste of booking and he wants more. Now it's a toy box, before it was a theater trope and he was the patron. It kind of sucks because he used to want to watch some fun shit but now he's concerned with selling his ideas and what he'd like to see versus what will make some money to normies are drastically different. It's only a matter of time until they brighten up to WWE color levels and fully go away from their soul.
