They need their YL crop back and given a Tana/Nak like push. LA dojo, Umino etc coming back could revitalize things.
Focusing on toys and collectibles and shit saved but also ruined them.
That's where that new title came from. But the bait and switch with them bringing back the old title but not bringing it back was shitty.
They need to change the booking, Gedo doesn't have it anymore and Togo is even worse.
They need to get over covid and allow for more natural reactions again.
They need to stop relying on short term attention grabbing gimmicks.
Maybe most importantly the tide is just at a low. Especially as the west is concerned with no westerners to latch on to.
Momentum started with AJ etc going to WWE and continued with new fans latching onto BC but there's nobody like that now.
Western fans have their new promotion now, there's no reason to watch NJPW now if you want something accessible and more wrestling focused.
