If you watch his last few wrestling matches at that point he's already checked out mentally and just keeps repeating the same 3 moves over and over again. Now this might just be WWE booking style but like this nigga was clearly not there at all.

He didn't. That is one of Dr Omalu's catchphrases. He is known for saying things like that. The actual effects of CTE are still being debated. A CTE brain may look the same as an alzheimer's patient in scans but it pretty obviously doesn't behave like one. If you scanned Foley's brain (or any number of people) they would have the same looking brain. Is Foley walking around like an 80 year old alzheimer's patient? Obviously not. Is Kurt Angle? Was New Jack? I doubt even Terry Funk is walking around like an alzheimer's patient and he is literally 80 years old with mega CTE (ive no idea what Terry Funk is like these days Im just guessing). Brain damage is a thing but Benoit was 39 years old and nowhere near beat up enough to not know what he was doing. When somebody like Test had CTE you know it can't be that difficult to obtain and that most wrestlers and fighters have some degree of CTE
