Warrior wasn't a great worker, but that was never the point. He could only exist in the mid-80s till the mid-90s and was a perfect fit for those times.

What happened was people like Meltzer wrote hit job after hit job because they were workrate marks and didn't want to understand the appeal of Warrior.

I was a little Warrior mark in the late 80s. Didn't have an internet to look at and see a bunch of dipshits hate on everything. Also, I was so young I thought all this shit was real, so imagine that plus seeing Warrior in his prime and yeah my mind was blown. Never gonna have that feeling ever again.

Nah he could've existed in the late 90s to early 2000s, they just gave those types a shoot fighter gimmick instead like Goldberg. Ultimate Warrior was awesome though due to his acting skills. He really did speak as if he were a Celestial entity of the Gods. The problem with the modern era is that everyone takes themselves too seriously when they're all just nerds.
