Madden was on Konnans podcast and I thought I’d share some notes about his appearance after he was fired from Ric Flairs podcast
> Him and Flair are no longer friends after he was fired. He said a 30 year friendship went up in smoke when he realized how bad the podcast was going. Flair promised Westwood one celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Tom Brady and others but quickly it was revealed Ric doesn’t know them like that . They asked Mark to bring on Ben Roethlisberger but declined.
>Ric no longer talks to any of his friends including people in the sports world, HBK, HHH, Arn and Tony Khan. Tony blackballed ric from his birthday party and aew after dark side aired. He thinks Ric is becoming more of an alcoholic and isolating himself everyday.

> ric wanted the podcast to be about current events and not focus on nostalgia. When Mark Madden spoke about aew signing the biggest gaijin star in new japan Jay White, Ric had no idea who Jay was. Mark was frustrated because Ric never watched modern wrestling.
> Mark spoke about the nuclear heat he has on Flair, Konnan and Disco know about it and it’s bad according to them. During the show konnan hinted that it was something about Ric insulting a “national hero” and Mark quickly cut him off.
