I’m not mad, but my feelings are definitely hurt. I really enjoyed Cody’s run from NJPW/RoH up until his match against MJF in AEW. After that, it’s like he became a completely different person. Everything went downhill when he was allowed to do his “Codyverse” shit.
I personally don’t watch WWE because I feel they don’t put out a quality product. However, if a wrestler has a better opportunity there than why wouldn’t they go for it? What feels gross about this is Cody turned out to be a liar, user, and narcissist all along.
He talked more shit than any other person. He did things both literal and (way over the top) metaphorical to trash “the other place,” HHH, and Vince. Now, he’s the first and only person to go back. I mean, what a piece of shit. Regardless of which promotion is your favorite, Cody is a egomaniac hypocrite.
