Back to AEW in 3 years (how long his WWE contract is) where he’ll expect a heroes welcome and a world title run.
In WWE he will get at least one world title run, and then a few midcard IC/US runs. WWE will hope that during this time they will be able to nab a couple of young guys from AEW after Cody has shown the grass is green on the other side, at which point Cody’s worth will diminish.
WWEs end goal is that for every 35+ year old they lose to AEW, they’ll replace with a 25-35 wrestler from AEW who ignores the warnings from the likes of PAC and Mox.

Nah. Nobody on TV has taken a shot except Jericho and there doesn’t seem to be bad blood other than creative differences. They probably both know that he’s going to be back in AEW at some point in the future, just like Dusty went back to WCW after leaving for 3 years, and we all know how obsessed he is about being just like his dad.
