WWE will give him everything he needs, including his last name. Just stick it out in wrestling's shadow lands, the WWE. The fans in AEW may not welcome Cody back the way he believes they will, and by the time he's ready to return to AEW, WWE will have already chewed him up and spit him out.
NJPW is the better choice after WWE, but even then I doubt they'll be interested.
Cody low-key fucked himself, honestly, but in the best way possible financially.
Again, hope he makes the most of it. He'll never be a Roman killer, never be a Brock killer. He doesn't need to be, but with his ego who knows what he's attempting to accomplish.
