Are the profits tied to Roman? Absolutely not. But he's clearly not damaging their capacity to make money, so there's no reason to change course. It's the guy Vince wants, and the promotion remains viable with him on top. Had he been able to do that with Diesel, he would have.
The reality is times have changed and the company is no longer made or broken on the back of one top star.
