If some random celebrity bitch slaps Superman, that cheapens the whole DC universe. Same principle here. You've got to protect the narrative that the guys on your roster are the toughest of the tough, at least in-universe (everyone knows that it's fake, same as with Superman). If some singer with no athletic background can walk in, put up a real fight, and look just as smooth as your midcard, that says more about the midcard than the singer.
