Cody VS K.O. would have been freakin' awesome to see live on RAW. Why make it a dark match? Everyone here is saying how bad the show was, but it would have been at least tolerable if they included this match. Not every match has to be a part of some stupid fucking storyline. Just have a fucking match.

Well obviously they're not gonna put on a 20 minute classic like they did at Mania, but it was still a fun match that helped solidify Cody as part of the roster. And the promo he cuts at the end is genuinely great. Short, sweet, to the point and better than what he delivered in the opening.

They could have easily written things so that K.O. and Cody were announced to have the match at the beginning of RAW and still have the Elias and Kevin storyline. If another anon is correct/telling the truth, Roman demanded the last segment so he could jerk himself off due to the fact that he's scared shitless of Cody and is already threatening to go sit at home and basically dare Vince to strip him of the world title if he has to interact with Cody.

And that Vince is (allegedly) forcing Cody and Roman to sit down later this week before Smackdown to work out some sort of coexistence deal where Cody and Roman don't abuse their respective creative control clauses to spend the next year or so calling the other faggot and chickenshit and bring the company to a standstill.

I would say it's run them ragged. If Vince is signing paychecks with that many zeroes on it for you, he's gonna put you to work. Even if giving you a match on Raw doesn't work for a story, he'll put you in a dark match. And then of course, there are the live events. Seriously, if you're a wrestling fan, never go to a taping. Go to a live event.

Outside of possibly noteworthy things happening (debuts, title changes, etc), televised live events are pretty shit. They drag on and they're just not as fun as you'd think.
The house shows are WAY better imo. They're comfy as fuck and while you get a lot of sandbagging and general houseshow stuff it's chill and nice.
