A top NXT act could be headed to WWE main roster as early as this weekend.
Fightful has learned there have been internal discussions about bringing up the group Imperium to the WWE main roster, with Smackdown being the heavily discussed destination. Specifically, we're told that the pitch involved Walter/Gunther and Marcel Barthel, but not Fabian Aichner. This would explain the angle that took place on Tuesday's episode of NXT.
Fightful was informed that from the point Walter/Gunther made the move over to the United States, the plan had always been to bring him up to the Raw or Smackdown. We spoke with the trio over WrestleMania weekend for an interview where they discuss the possibility of heading to the main roster.
