I was actually starting to get kind of interested in the Page/Cole feud and i was glad to see Hangman with some kind of attitude but as soon as he said "texas deathmatch" i lost interest
We all know it's going to be the same bunch of spots and furniture breaking that became meaningless a long time ago

Worse, all his stipulations are the same match but with different names. There's no distinction. Why do they need to have the lights out distinction when a normal tornado tag match is often more out of control?

It bothers me that it's not actually a fucking texas deathmatch. In a texas deathmatch you have to pin them then they have to stay down for 10 seconds, he's just having a hardcore match in texas.

I believe that putting title matches on television for free cheapens your title, but that's is definitely a minority opinion

but again, if all the matches go on for this long the title match isn't special at all
title matches or main events in mma are 25 minutes, but a regular match can never be more than 15
that makes a big difference in perception

To not rely on the same, select gimmick matches he likes to go to the well on. It's a crutch he's leaning on. If he's going to overbook interference from the Dark Order and Red Dragon, just do a regular no DQ or hardcore match. But he's just too in love with the Texas Deathmatch it seems.

I highly doubt long matches correlate to more viewers, otherwise why not just have a couple 60 minute ironmans a show and call it a day
I would in fact go out on a limb and say the matches are one of the least important aspects of drawing a audience, and you can look at other combat sports too to prove that hypothesis

Adam Page just had a Texas death match and the only reason they're doing another one is because they want to boost the Rampage ratings.
