I wouldn't say that wrestling is the least important part, only due to how the wrestling component is meant to tell the story. Royal Rumble 1992 was fun, because of Ric Flair's selling & psychology and that was a match that lasted over an hour. Ric Flair completely sold it like a 1 hour match though. You really couldn't predict how the match was going to go. You don't see anything like that at AEW. They're just HHH era NXT with a bigger budget. The only motherfucker at AEW who knows what they're doing is MJF. MJF actually paces his matches out & tells a story through actions. You can believe that MJF won his matches, because he's generally picking apart body parts & isolating his opponents. Instead of nonstop super move spam where I'm supposed to believe some 150 pounder can knock someone out with a superkick. It was believable with Shawn Michaels, because he was at least 215 pounds. About the same weight as 80s era Mike Tyson.
