They don’t even need an off season, just rotate the roster. Give 1/4 of the roster one quarter of the year off, one top guy, a few upper card guys, a crew of low card guys. Then rotate them around quarterly, switch the groups up every year so the same people aren’t always off at the same time/timeframe etc. they would probably keep their stars healthier, happier, and more energetic and thus make more money since the brand is bigger than all of them anyway
